So, what is this site anyways? One day I was sitting at the computer, browsing through the Zelda community thinking, "Wow, someone should really make
a list of all of these websites." Then I decided to do it myself. I've seen it done before in the
Mario community, why couldn't I do it here? After I sketched out a design for Zelda Portal
I thought I needed to do more than just list other sites and their information. I got the idea to review sites from a great
site, now offline, Final Fantasy Executive. I also saw Mario sites give out awards in their community and Exploding
Deku Nut do in this one, so added that to the site as well. Once some final preparations were complete, Zelda Portal was opened on
May 14, 2008.
Needless to say, you aren't going to find game guides, media, and or even anything related to the Zelda series
here on Zelda Portal. Our goals are to strengthen the community's relationship with one another, help out the
newer sites, and provide coverage of any major events or news in the community.
I need help with my site! Great, you came to the right place. We hope to help newbies in the Zelda community. You can have your
site reviewed as I mentioned above, or,
if you need hosting or even if you need help making your first layout, feel free to click the appropriate links on
the menu. We also have guides and articles you can read if you so choose.
Can my site join the listing? Absolutely, just send me an email or use the contact form on the affiliation page. We don't have any rules besides that it has to be a Zelda site and can't be
vulgar. I'll tell you if your site doesn't fit the requirements, but it'll be pretty hard not to.
