Tutorial Part 2 Complete
Posted on 11 Jul 2008 by Kinopio
Part 2, Making the Layout, of the making a site guide is now complete. Writing the article didn't take nearly as long as making the example layout to go with it, so sorry for the delay. I hope it helps anyone that reads it, I would have taken all that advice when I was newbie. Anyways, enjoy!
I also added the information regarding our hosting service. It's FTP based of course, but you start out with 250 MB of space (about a quarter of a gigabyte) and two databases, which I think is a nice deal. Drop me an email or fill out the form if you're interested; if I get too many applications I may limit the number. *yawn* Now I must sleep.
We've been affiliated with a few sites, but now that I have more, I think I should mention them all. All of them are great sites that speak for themselves; some old and some new. Hope I didn't forget anyone:
I also added the first chapter of the "How to Make a Site" step-by-step guide. It contains information that is supposed to help any newbie planning a Zelda site on their own. I'll make sure to continue the guide ASAP.
Recently I've been getting a lot of blank submitted sites. I'm not sure if the form is malfunctioning or someone just likes to hit the submit button for fun. If you submitted a site, and it isn't here, please email me instead. Also, I don't have any site reviews lined up, so if you want one, please fill out this form. That's all for now, enjoy the site (and the other ones)!
Zelda Adventures Review

I finished another review, except this time it is for Zelda Adventures. It is a very promising site, so make sure you stop by and read the review. They got 3.6/5.0 which is an amazing score for it's first year alive. If you have any questions on why I scored something feel free to email, or use my AIM: Kinopio999
Zelda Temple Review

I reviewed Zelda Temple so make sure you check it out the link above or below. I bet you're all saying, "oh, that's what the empty boxes were for." =p Zelda Temple got a great score for being online for a mere 2 years, and I'm sure that score will be much higher if they want to be reviewed again in the future.
Hi guys, I'm finally ready to start building this site now that school is over and I had a few days to recover. >_> So anyway, here is the list of things I have to do:
Figure out how to make email forms (some people don't like plain old email for some reason)
Yeah, so I have some work to do to say the least. I also have to work on my other site, but hey, its summer so I have lots of time. I'm going to need to staff people in the near future when we start getting more layout and review requests.
Today marks the "official" opening day of Zelda Portal. We've been online for a few days, but not opened. During the coming week you'll notice links being put up as well as some content. Feel free to email me any questions, suggestions, or even sites so I get a head start. I think this site will be fun to make! ^_^
